Attacking A Dreaded Diagnosis

It has happened to you or to someone near and dear—a dreaded diagnosis. How do you respond?

A military style response would be to know your enemy, make a plan, and execute the plan.

A spiritual response would be to know your enemy, make a plan, and execute the plan.

It should come as no surprise that both responses, overall, are identical. In fact, in Christian terms, we speak of spiritual warfare, putting on armor, assessing the enemy’s strength, building (defending) upon a firm foundation, and having a faith that exceeds the strength of the soldiers and the power of battle horses. Let’s attack the dreaded diagnosis with a combined military-spiritual battle plan.
